The Recital

Here we are at the end-o-year recital.

Theo wants to stop piano and move onto guitar.  

We told him to give it a year.

He's been going for 1  1/2 years.

He's really catching on quite nicely and we'd love him to continue on w/ piano since it is so lovely for the basics of reading music and beautiful for hand-eye coordination and all the other numerous reasons why.

We don't mind that he learn guitar, but are open to creative suggestions for incentives or something to continue on with piano for a little bit longer.  Any thoughts?

Would you, could you with a slug?

Okay,  we just got back from a fabulous weekend at the cabin with the girl scouts.

Jenn was a huge help!  I will post more photos from the overnight, but just had to get these 

videos for you. On their  scavenger hunt, they needed to find a banana slug, the videos show an optional part to the listed item.  This is a weekend topper as we didn't see a slug the whole time until we were just about to leave. Look closely AND listen!   I really want to know ..... would you, could you????
